Integration of leading cannabis delivery service and premier phone portal enhances company’s omnichannel expansion
LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)– ManifestSeven (“M7” and formerly known as MJIC), California’s first integrated omnichannel platform for legal cannabis, today announced the acquisition of M Delivers, one of the state’s leading legal cannabis delivery services. Founded in 2015 and based in San Diego, M Delivers operates on a fully-licensed basis and in compliance with all local and state regulations, providing discreet delivery of safe, high-quality cannabis products to the consumer’s front door.
In a separate but related transaction, M7 has also acquired the rights to the telephone number 1-800-Cannabis, which will serve as the centralized gateway through which businesses and consumers alike will be able to access M7’s comprehensive suite of omnichannel solutions.
“M7’s acquisition of M Delivers and the 1-800-Cannabis portal are foundational milestones in our expansion across California,” said Pierre Rouleau, Chief Operating Officer of ManifestSeven. “M Delivers’ robust customer base, spanning northern and southern California, will provide significant growth opportunities for M7’s retail and distribution operations. Delivery is a tentpole offering within ManifestSeven’s range of services, and we’re looking forward to integrating these new, highly-scalable assets across M7’s growing statewide portfolio of retail operations.”
Since inception, M Delivers has assembled a database of more than 30,000 active retail customers, and its operations are supported by a team of over 50 employees, allowing M Delivers to provide an unparalleled customer service experience. The acquisition bolsters ManifestSeven’s growing retail presence throughout California and, in addition, will help M Delivers rapidly expand its delivery footprint by integrating its operations into M7’s licensed infrastructure throughout the state.
“We are excited to be joining with ManifestSeven, a market leader who will allow M Delivers to maximize its growth potential and offer our exceptional service to a new universe of customers,” said Christine Bordenave, formerly Chief Executive Officer of M Delivers, who will serve as M7’s Director of Delivery Operations. “Joining M7’s powerful omnichannel platform will allow us to offer a wider variety of the safest, highest-quality cannabis products to our customers.”
