Puffcon is the first musical block party thrown by its namesake vape tech company Puffco. PUFFCO
The vape tech company Puffco is throwing its first-ever concert and cannabis celebration called the Puffcon Block Party. Located at an outdoor venue in the center of Los Angeles, California, the event will take place on October 2, 2021. Musical headliners include Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, and Buddy.
“When it comes to our hash community, which is what most Puffco users are centered around, there have really been two artists that have given our community the love and attention it deserves. Those artists are The Flatbush Zombies and Action Jackson,” says Roger Volodarsky, Founder and CEO of Puffco. “They regularly engage with hash. They love concentrates. They love dabbing. They love this community. And we feel like they represent our community in a great way. So it was a no brainer.”
Adults over the age of 21 will be able to consume cannabis on site. Puffco, the vape tech darling founded in 2013, has become one of the most popular smart rig producers on the market. It has coined such stoner innovations including the vaporizers Peak and Peak Pro, Hot Knife, and even a portable bong-in-water bottle called the Budsy.
Consumers who own a Puffco Peak or Peak Pro are admitted to the festival for free. Event organizers note that there will not be cannabis sales on site. Puffco says attendees of the concert and block party also must show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination with government-issued identification. “Our hope is by hosting this event,” says Volodarsky, “we will set the bar for future events in our industry and others.”
